Submit a Renovation
We’re always looking for compelling renovation stories to feature on our site. If you’ve completed a home improvement project—whether it’s a roof replacement, exterior upgrade, or transformation that changed how you think about your space—we’d like to hear about it. You can see examples of the stories we’ve featured in our project showcase.

How to reach us
Getting in touch is straightforward. Send us the details of your project, some photos if you have them, and the reason the work mattered to you. What we’re interested in is the real experience—the decisions you made, what surprised you, and what you’d tell someone facing the same choice.

We feature stories that show what good work actually looks like from a homeowner’s perspective.
Submissions typically take a few minutes. We read everything that comes in, and we’ll follow up if your story fits what we’re building here. If you’re still in the planning stages, our project planning guide covers the key decisions and timelines you should think through first.
Before you write
To help us make the most of your submission, here’s what we’ll need and what happens next. If you’re unsure about any of the details—especially contractor selection or budget ranges—check out our material and selection guides first.
| What you do | What we need | What you’ll see afterwards |
| Gather project details | Project type, timeline, budget range, contractor name, location | A confirmation that we received it |
| Write the story | Why you did it, what changed, what you learned, 200–400 words | We’ll read it within a week and decide if it’s a fit |
| Add photos | Before/after images if available, or a photo of the finished work | Clear visibility into your project’s outcome |
| Submit | Complete form with your contact info so we can reach you | A note confirming submission and what happens next |
If your story is selected, we may reach out to ask a few follow-up questions or request additional details. We’ll always ask permission before publishing, and you’ll see how we’ve framed your project before it goes live.
